4 Things That Stop Us From "Showing Up" In Life

How do you show up in Life? Are you Happy where you're at? Are you on the right course? Making progress?

In order to achieve goals, we need to change our behavior, and eventually become a better version of ourselves. Because right now we’re not ready for it yet, we haven’t developed the needed habits, haven’t eliminated some unhealthy/unproductive activities, and have so many distractions that we hardly know what’s really important.

But achieving what you want is absolutely possible. You just need to fall in love with consistency and start taking action and not be second-guessing yourself.

And you need to eliminate the things that not only slow your progress but which keep you from moving forward:

1. Procrastination

Keep in mind one thing: now is the best time to do what you want, any other time is later than now. The present moment is where you create your future and the only time you can be productive and work on what you believe in.

Your ONLY cure for Procrastination is to START doing something NOW, not “someday, Immediately!

2. Excuses

You may often hear yourself say some of these:

  • It’s not the right time
  • I’ve tried before and failed
  • I’m not good enough
  • I’m too Old, I’m too young
  • I don’t have enough money/time/experience
  • Most people can’t succeed anyway
  • Maybe I’m not meant to have a six-pack or be rich
  • It’s going to be too hard
  • It will take too long for this to happen
  • People will laugh at me

Realize that your mind is tricky and prefers to stay in its comfort zone, doing the same old activities and tasks on autopilot, and not try anything new. That’s why it’s making up all these excuses, that can often sound quite convincing.

3. Lack of consistency

This is a BIG one! Because whatever you do, if you don’t do it each day, you won’t see any progress. Consistency is a trait of all successful people, and it becomes a habit over time, like everything else. But without it, you won’t get far. So break your steps into smaller ones, make time each day, and find the will to get up and do this one thing.

4. Throwing in the towel before you see results.

Impatience is the enemy of change.

Just because you can't see results, doesn't mean your efforts are wasted. You need to stick to your goals longer than you might think before you experience lasting change.

BE 100% COMMITTED...
In order to achieve the results that you want, you can’t be HALF ASS committed or easily distracted when challenges come your way. You have to have a NO EXCUSES approach and let nothing get in your way to making things happen for you.

NOTHING COMES EASY... and don’t expect or look for handouts. You don’t get what you want, or what you think you deserve. Instead, you get exactly what you WORK for, what you focus on, what you tolerate, and take massive daily action on making strides forward.

If you want to be successful in any area of your life, then you need to cement this phrase in your mind.

You’re only going to be as successful as your mind says that you are.

If you believe you can’t get a six pack, lose weight or become rich - THEN YOU WON’T.

You might say BS.... but it is really that Simple.

We are all destined to be GREAT and to achieve ANYTHING we set out to do.. so stop selling yourself short. Be relentless in your pursuit of being a better YOU!
